SSC GD Constable 2021Dear aspirants there are various upcoming vacancy will be released by staff selection commission in 2021. earlier the SSC released a notice on April 9 mentioning that the SSC GD notification, which was scheduled to be released on March 25 will now be released in the first week of May. The SSC Constable(GD) exam notification is expected to release for a good number of vacancies because the constables form the backbone of the security forces and its requirements always increase with time.

SSC GD Constable 2021 Eligibility 2021

Candidates are needed to fulfill Various parameters in order to meet SSC GD Constable eligibility criteria :

  • Nationality – Candidates must be a citizen of India.
  • Age Limit – Candidates should be aged between 18 and 23 years.

Educational Qualification :– matriculation or  Class 10 passed from a recognized board. Candidates appearing for their qualifying examination (Class 10) are not eligible for the exam

Selection Procedure :-  after verification of the application forms , all the eligible  candidates will be selected through the following steps .

Q: Is the SSC GD 2021 notification released?

A: SSC GD notification 2021 was to be released in the first week of May 2021, however, the notification has been deferred a mid the prevailing COVID-19 situation in the country. 

Q: How many stages does SSC GD Constable exam contain?

A: The SSC GD exam contains four stages – Computer-Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and medical examination.

Q: Is there any age limit to appear for SSC GD exam?

A: Yes, candidates should be 18-23 years of age in order to be eligible for the exam.

Q. What is the qualifying cut off for CBE?

A.The cut off marks of CBE is 35 per cent for General, 30 per cent for SC/ST/OBC/EWS and 25 per cent for ESM categories.

Q. How many candidates are shortlisted for PE&MT/PET/PST?

A.The number of candidates shortlisted for PET/PST on the basis of merit in CBE is usually 10 times the number of vacancies.

Q. How the final allocation of candidates is done?

A.The final allocation of candidates is done based on the performance of candidates in the CBE. PST/PET and medical examination (if applicable) are qualifying in nature.
